Setting up the FUTR LABO
We have set up the FUTR LABO as an organization to more powerfully promote initiatives for realizing the DX vision. We are aiming for the creation and implementation of innovative ideas, by valuing the creativity and individual initiative of each employee and positively supporting their realization.
In our ongoing challenge to create new value together, so far we have held five Hankyu Hanshin Properties Co-Creation Award events*, which aim to create new value for customers through co-creation and collaborations with start-up companies. We will apply the achievements and lessons learnt in this initiative, and further advance FUTR LABO to the next stage.

Open innovation initiatives
We have positioned open innovation as a key strategy for creating new value and business models. As one part of achieving this, we operate a corporate venture capital (CVC) fund to accelerate our co-creation with start-up companies. We utilize our commercial facilities, offices, logistics facilities, housing, and other business assets and know-how to integrate the new technologies and insights that can be created by startup companies to pursue new business co-creation.
Developing DX human resources
By sub-dividing the levels of DX human resources and identifying certification standards such as acquisition of DX-related qualifications and practical experience in DX projects, we provide support for further improvements in knowledge and advancement to practical implementation.
We have been selected as a certified business under the DX Certification System operated by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, as a business that carries out excellent initiatives related to strategies and systems for promoting DX.
